Portuguese Legation, London, February 2, 1911. I HAVE the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 31st ultimo, together with a copy of the note which Sir Edward Grey addressed to the Netherlands Minister ou the same date, concerning the proposed Opium Conference to be held on the 1st July next, the contents of which I am transmitting to my Government and for which I also beg to tender my best thanks.
